SmartKids Asia, Asia’s Largest Educational Kids’ Fair, is a fun filled family event where parents and children can discover and experience highly beneficial educational stimulation together. The fair encourages parents and teachers to nurture their children and create outstanding future role models.
The inaugural Smart Kids Asia, Indonesia was held on 22 – 24 Jan at the Jakarta Convention Center. More than 100 exhibitors and businesses came together to create an educational exposition with products and services targeting Children aged 3 – 12 and parents.
Incorporated in April 2008 and wholly owned by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), Sphere Exhibits, stands for “SPH Events, Roadshows and Exhibitions”.
WHAT WE DID
Lighthouse8 wanted to gear the media spending towards highly relevant users to reach the goal set for post engagements. Through the use of Facebook’s detailed demographic targeting features, Lighthouse8 managed to target parents living within Central Jakarta with children between 3-12 years of age.
Using Facebook Power Editor and post scheduling, the campaign set up was streamlined and the management fees were kept to a minimum. We were able to reach people at the right time with ease and generate a buzz around the event.
Throughout the lifetime of the campaign, each day had a unique post with differing texts and images to support the paid media. The posts encouraged people to attend the event, asking what kind of activities they might like to try and content they might have interest in.
The results of this campaign included Lighthouse8 reaching 150% of the pre-set engagement goals as well as generating significant social shares and a social buzz for SmartKids Educational Kids’ Fair in Indonesia.
