By the end of next month, the FastJobs app will launch two new features to further accommodate employers and job seekers in blue-collar roles. The app will utilize big data based on browsing behaviour to find suitable roles for job seekers and recommend viable positions via app notifications and e-mails. The app will also enable employers to contact job seekers and field a number of automated questions to potential employees to make the screening process more efficient.
The app, which launched in 2015, has since then been downloaded over 800 000 times and is continuing to make an international move, most recently expanding to Malaysia and the Philippines.
Lighthouse8 recently took over digital marketing of SPH’s FastJobs app as it is looking to expand to more regions of South-East Asia and increase its presence on the job market in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
